Sometimes the world makes things harder then it really needs to be and then the Lord comes in and makes it sooooo simple..
Our plumbing has not been the business. Our kitchen sink has been on the NO WORKING side of things and so to do dishes we went old school we had to fill up 2 big bowls and one was for washing and you guessed it one was for rinsing. When all was done the boys carried the bowls out and dumped the water on the side of the house I know not very sanitary, but it was just dirty water.. We've been going this way for so long I don't even remember how long, it just seemed second nature to do things this way. Of course there was a lot of complaining about who's turn it was to take the bowls and of course I would just yell someones name out and they had to take it out..
We have been calling around for a long time to get quotes, and trust me we get some extra money (which really never happens) and we try and call then someone gives a number so HIGH that only in our dreams can we afford that, and the getting of the quotes is done for that moment..
The light at the end of the tunnel:
One of our ward members heard about our dilemma with our plumbing and showed up yesterday with the blessing of the bishopric and fixed it.. Yes you heard me right.. FIXED it.. I don't know who was more excited me for having fixed plumbing or the boys for NOT having to take out the big bowls of water. I am indeed grateful for our ward, for filling a need that we were unable to fill.. I'm grateful for the church and for all it has done for me and my family.. I just want to thank Tohi Similai for coming to the rescue you have NO idea all you have done for us.. You are the best..

The kids number one fan Auntie Lelu...UEA weekend is upon us, but we had some rough patches in the short 3 day week of school.. Monday 10/11/10 started normal, David had film at the high school @ 6am and then the day started from there Kids to Entheos by 8am, and then a day with the 2 babies eating, cooking, cleaning, taking long naps (not sure if I should admit that lol) then time to pick up kids drop Amone off at the high school for football practice and then home, short break and then time to take Sione to football practice while there David had hit wrong at football practice and had a sharp pain in his neck, and then finally football was over and we went home.. Finally meaning around 830pm.. Tuesday everything was good, Mone had a sophomore game against Copper hills High School at the end of the 2nd quarter Mone goes back to return the punt and catches it, next thing he know someone has his ankles and another player hits him with his helmet right on his knees, Mone is down and cant get up.. To the ER we go everything is ok but it will swell up and he will be in pain and out for some time..
Wednesday David plays varsity against the same school and of course he gets that same pain up his shoulder straight to his neck, so he leaves the game 3rd quarter..
Thursday they are both off the Ana Alusa to massage both of them they are know in the healing process and should heal fine, nothing is broken just some over worked nerves and some shifted muscles..
Friday, we are all cleaning or should I say the kids are... hahaha..
Happy UEA Utah kids, time to get ready for Saturday Siones game vs Cottonwood.. Go get em cougars..

Its been a long time
Wow seems like forever since I've actually written anything on this blog.. Ive been busy with my other blog.. Well its already June and the year is almost half over, wow and what a year its been so far.. Where to start where to start..
Well Dec, I was in the hospital with heart failure, due to the fact that I'm really over weight.. (another thing Ive been working on) and just in May I returned to the hospital because my kidneys were failing, man when it rains it really pours.. So my life has taken a whole different turn, I'm back in the gym (4 weeks straight).. My endurance has really gone up I can hang now the whole hour of classes at the gym.. Just really need to fix my eating habits.. Which is actually going to be the hard part.. Hate it.. Hate fixing me eating.. But if I want to stay a live that's what I have to do.. SO here's to a healthier second half of the year.. Sorry Ive been gone, it wont happen again..

My oldest nephew (not in the photo) graduated from Southern Utah University and this is a photo from our hotel swimming pool.. It was really nice just to get away..

Happy New Year....
I cant wait to see all that 2010 has in store for us.. My family has come a long way and are finally at the point where we have a groove on how we all work.. Grant you I know we will have some ups and downs but together we can beat anything..
I have thought long and hard on what my new year resolutions were going to be and Ive noticed that most of them lead back to SIMPLIFYING my life style both mines and my family.. To many time we get caught up in so many things that retuning back to basics is what is needed.
So here are some of my goals for myself and my family...
1. Implement the Lord in our daily lives..
2. Get into shape, the scare at the hospital was to much..
3. Organize my house which I know will lead to organizing my life..
4. Simplify my kids schedules.. Too many of them play on 2-3 teams per season.. No more of that they need time to be a kid..
5. Date night with husband... Oh its been to long.. This should become easier when the goals of organizing my life and simplifying the kids schedules are met..
6. Enjoy every day with my family..
7. Stop being so negative.. I notice that I am on the negative side when things happen I point out the negative first.. NO MORE..
8. Really really get my photography business up and running.. Ive been keeping it simple because of scheduling with kids and stuff but I need to push this really hard if I'm going to do it.
That's all I can think of for now.. I'm sure more goals will come as the year progresses.. But if I just remember to go back to the BASIC I should be OK...
May the Lord bless you and your family during the new year.. And may all your goals be obtained this year.. Love you THE FINAU FAMILY
Since a post is always better with a picture.. Here you go..
This is what my husband lives for.. He loves to pull up home from work and see Iman waiting for him, he loves the smile she has when he pulls up.. Its gotten to the point where he calls me now when he's almost home so I can tell her he's coming..
IM SO GLAD WHEN DADDY HOME....

A year coming to an end, a hospital stay, and a whole new outlook.....
Wow it has been awhile since my last post.. And again I wish I had some great excuse but its really been just plain LAZY.. But I'm sure you all new that.. lol
So December has been kinda weird for our family.. I mean for me.. Ive been sick most of it anyway.. I have had bronchitis which became worse when the virus attacked my heart making it beat to fast and slow everything else down.. ie my liver.. I already have high blood pressure so this didn't help.. After about two weeks of suffering at home with the couldn't breathing and the need to throw up all my food the minute Ive eaten it.. ( I knew something was wrong because I don't even throw up when I'm pregnant).. After struggling to breathe I finally gave in and went to the ER. They of course couldn't believe how high my blood pressure was and they couldn't believe I was still alive, they admitted me for 3 days I had a procedure done on my heart to help it fight the virus and start pumping better.. Of course what this all comes down to is the fact that I NEED TO LOOSE WEIGHT... So here I am with a new year around the corner and 6 beautiful kids that I need to live for.. Ive started already Ive taken salt out of my day, and Ive also calmed down a lot on eating.. I have a whole box of oranges here so when I want to eat something out of habit, I peel me an orange and have at it.. I think its starting to work..
I just wanted to thank everyone who prayed for me.. I will be around.. New Year New me... Love it.. That's my motto for the upcoming year..

Not a boy but not yet a man...

Last Thursday Nov 4Th was my son Davids 16Th birthday.. Man I cant believe how time has flown.. 16yrs I encountered a lot of 1st... My 1st time feeling labour pains, my 1st natural delivery, my 1st time feeling so much pain, and then quickly forgetting everything while I held my newborn baby son in my arms.. And the most important 1st was that of feeling such unconditional love for someone I just met the kind of love that can only happen between mother and child.. My son David is my oldest son, he holds a lot on his shoulders, I always talk with my husband at night and say David seems like he carries the weight of the world on his shoulders.. I don't like thinking of him like that. I want to him to live life and to beat it at its own game.
For his birthday gift we allowed him to go to California and watch his cousins play and hang out with them.. This was to be his 1st time flying alone. I went to drop him off at the airport and I asked him if he wanted me to walk him to the gate, he laughed and said No I'm alright. I then asked him if he wanted me to check him in at the curb and then he could go into the airport alone, he smiled and said OK if you want to.. I pulled up checked him in and with a quick hug and a I love you mom.. He walked away, with a quick look back.. He was off on what was to be his 1st of many adventures without his mom..
I pray the Lord keeps him safe from harm and that he knows the Lord is there for him, even if he thinks hes to old for his mom.. I pray he never looses his smile in his eyes, or his trust in the world. I pray he keeps his I CAN DO IT attitude.. I pray he always remembers his talents and uses them always, and thanks the Lord for them always.. I pray someday when the time comes I CAN let him go, and let him experience his 1st falls in the world, which will only make him stronger.. I pray when he looks back to see me I'm always there.. I pray he never stops looking back to see me.. My final prayer is that he ALWAYS knows how much his mommy loves him and that in a heart beat I would give up everything for him..
Happy Birthday My Son David... I couldn't of asked for a better son to start my family with.. Daddy and Mommy love you so much...
